The Pirates League is located in Adventureland and turns every pirate wannabe into a real pirate! Much like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, this is a pirate make over complete with bandana, hook, and eye patch. Each child is sworn in as a pirate after the makeover is complete, making them a true pirate. This does cost extra, but makes a great pirating experience.
Also consider pirate cruises at Disney World including Albatross Treasure, Bayou Pirate, and the Pirate Adventure. Kids (4-12 only) climb on board clad in bandanas and search for treasure. These cruises last about 2 hours each, and the price is approximately $36. Be sure to make a reservation before leaving for the trip.
Pirates and Pals Firework Cruise – Of course, Disney has pirates on Seven Sea’s Lagoon! Take this moonlit cruise from the Contemporary Resort. Start with light refreshments and then meet your favorite bad guys Captain Hook and Mr. Smee before embarking on your voyage. Once onboard you will play games and have fun with your motley crew. The evening culminates with views of the Electrical Water Pageant followed by the Wishes fireworks display from the Magic Kingdom. When the show is over, you'll return to the boat dock - to find Peter Pan himself waiting to greet you! This is another great opportunity for pictures and autographs.
Me Pirate Adventure from Disney Florist is your own amazing scavenger hunt in search of Jack Sparrow’s treasure. It is a pricey option (at $395), but makes the ultimate pirate experience! When you arrive at the room a banner is on the door letting you know Jack himself was there. In the room he leaves a skull and a note giving you instructions on how to find his treasure. This scavenger hunt is a great family bonding experience!
